Dy. General Manager Balochistan Agha Mohammad Baloch presented the welcome speech whereas the gathering was also addressed by religious scholar Syed Muhib Ullah Agha, Khateeb Bolan Medical College, Shehzada Zulfiqar, a senior journalist representing the media fraternity and Abdul Majid Malik, Sr. General Manager (Distribution-North).
All speakers highlighted the importance of precious human lives that are tragically lost due to unsafe use of gas appliances in winter season. A number of safety tips were shared by the speakers especially for gas heaters, and it was stressed that the awareness regarding these safety measures be spread through media.
In the end the Dy. General Manager (I/c Corporate Communications) Shahbaz Islam presented vote of thanks to the media fraternity and showed his gratitude for their presence despite the multiple violent incidents that unfolded in Quetta on the very day.
The reception concluded on a sumptuous dinner but not before another religious scholar Maulana Abdur Raheem Raheemi, Khateeb Gol Masjid led the audience in a soulful dua. The program was compered by Chief Manager (CCD) Inayatullah Ismail.
