SSGC’s Ramazan Ration Drive kicked off this weekend from Shikarpur where 150 ration packs were provided to marginalized communities mentioned in the registered database of Al-Khidmat Foundation, Sindh.
The Ramazan Ration Drive is a CSR initiative carried out under the directives of the Government of Pakistan. Zonal Manager Shikarpur Mr. Maqsood and senior engineers from Transmission Shikarpur distributed the ration bags in a ceremony organized by Al-Khidmat.
The distribution ceremony in Shikarpur was the first of seven ceremonies, with remaining six to be held in the coming week in various parts of Karachi, Upper Sindh and Balochistan in collaboration with not-for-profit organizations including Saylani Welfare International Trust, Alamgir Welfare Trust International, Jafaria Disaster Cell, Help International Welfare Trust, Lasbella Welfare Trust and Faizan Global Relief Foundation.
