In a milestone judgement, Hon’able Sindh High Court Karachi dismissed appeal of convict Qasim Ali and upheld his earlier conviction where he was convicted for direct gas use in his hotel and awarded 5 years imprisonment with Rs. 417,100 fine by Gas Utility Court, District South, Karachi.
The accused was taken into custody on Court orders and his bail was recalled. He has been sent to Central Jail Karachi to serve 5-year jail term. Malik Sadaqat Advocate for SSGC, contested the case.
