SSGC is presently contesting gas theft cases in 5 different district courts within Karachi including East, West, Centre and Malir. SSGC’s Counter Gas Theft Operations Department endeavored to have one special court established for complete Karachi Division for the sake of more effective prosecution.
It this connection, various meetings were held with Chief Justice Sindh High Court. The Court has agreed with SSGC’s proposal and has issued orders to establish one special gas utility court for the entire Karachi Division.
