On June 1, 2021, the Operations Wing of SSGC’s Counter Gas Theft Operations (CGTO) Department in Karachi conducted a raid in Sector R-3, Sultanabad on Manghopir Road. The team discovered the miscreants engaged in direct use of gas from the Company’s distribution pipelines using rubber pipe for power generation for running a Cold Storage.
Accused Aijaz ur Rehman was apprehend at the spot and placed behind the bars in SSGC Police Station. The generator was confiscated as case property and FIR was lodged. Appropriate claim will be raised.
