SSCGTO Operation wing Karachi on a tip off, carried out raids along with SSGC Police in Manzoor Daudpota Noor Muhammad Goth, Ahsanabad. The team found illegally laid distribution pipelines buried in the area. The pipe was removed with help of heavy machines and line closed. Plastic pipes of 200ft length of 63mm and 40mm were recovered. Further inquiry is in progress.
Reportedly such pipes have recently being laid in some other areas of Karachi as well.
Operations will intensify in future.
