{"id":5461,"date":"2017-08-15T13:12:02","date_gmt":"2017-08-15T08:12:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ssgc.com.pk\/web\/?p=5461"},"modified":"2017-08-15T13:12:02","modified_gmt":"2017-08-15T08:12:02","slug":"independence-day-celebrated-at-ssgc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ssgc.com.pk\/web\/?p=5461","title":{"rendered":"Independence Day Celebrated at SSGC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 70<sup>th<\/sup> Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at the SSGC Head Office on August 14, 2017. In what was an official yet uplifting ceremony, Amin Rajput, AMD (SSGC) hoisted the Pakistani flag in the presence of the Company\u2019s senior management and Office bearers of SSGC Officers\u2019 Association, SSGC Women\u2019s Association and the People\u2019s Labor Union, alongside a great number of other members of the SSGC family, while the national anthem sounded in full intensity, arousing strong patriotic emotions among the many people gathered around.<\/p>\n<p>The event, which was conducted by Mohammad Ali Gohar, CM (CCD), began with a wonderful performance put up by Rashid of the IT department, who sang tunefully to the melodies of the various musical instruments played at the venue.<\/p>\n<p>After congratulating the SSGC family on that auspicious occasion, Amin Rajput, AMD (SSGC) emphasized the necessity of not only preaching, but endeavoring, in meaningful steps, to improve the transparency in and the quality of our public sector organizations in a way of reciprocation for the efforts of our forefathers in getting us a free state. While stressing the likeness of SSGC to a mother, acting as a benefactor and protective shield around its employees, he said that we should all increase the determination with which we are taking the fight against UFG (Unaccounted for Gas) forward. He also thanked the various departments involved in setting up the arrangements for the event.<\/p>\n<p>The AMD\u2019s speech was followed by a heartfelt prayer for the betterment and welfare of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the Company\u2019s senior officials graced the ceremony by their presence, including Imran Farookhi, ADMD (CS), Muhammad Waseem, ADMD (Ops), Asad Saeed Khan, SGM (HR), Irfan Zafar, SGM (Special Projects), Asim Tirmizi, PD (LGs), Saeed Larik, ASGM (Distribution \u2013 South), Nisar Sheikh, ASGM (Distribution \u2013 North), Amir Mumtaz Khan, ASGM (GS), Adnan Sagheer, ASGM (Transmission), Dr. Munawar Hayat, CMO, Shaista Sheikh, GM (IT), Asif Fateh Sheikh, GM (Legal), Brig. Abuzar, GM (Security Services), Shakeel Ahmed, GM (Accounts), Col.
