The launching ceremony of \u2018Integrated Management System (IMS) Handbook\u2019 and \u2018HSE&QA Intranet Web Portal\u2019 was held on May 9, 2017 in Head Office Karachi. The Ceremony was chaired by Acting Managing Director Mr. Amin Rajput. The launching ceremony was also attended by Mohammad Waseem, ADMD (Ops), Imran Farookhi, ADMD (CS), Amir Mumtaz Khan, ASGM (GS), Nisar Shaikh, ASGM (Distribution-North), Saeed Larik, ASGM (Distribution-South), Kamran Nagi GM (P&C), Azam Akhtar, GM (Meter Plant), Shaista Shaikh, GM (IT), Shahbaz Islam, AGM (CCD),\u00a0 Madni Arafat Siddiqui, DGM (R&D), Tariq Aslam, DGM, I\/c (HSE&QA) and representatives of the HSEQA Department.<\/p>\n
Tariq Aslam, DGM, I\/c (HSE&QA) gave a brief presentation to management of IMS Web Portal and emphasized that this system is LIVE now and it has been created in-house with the assistance of the IT Department. He said that the online system will reduce paper work and will provide the quarterly HSE&QA performance of all zones to the top management through a web portal. Shamail Haider, Chief Engineer HSE&QA gave a LIVE demo of the web portal highlighting the details of main Dashboard. Amir Mumtaz Khan, ASGM (GS) applauded the milestones achieved in-house by the HSE&QA Team.<\/p>\n
On the occasion, the management appreciated the efforts of HSE&QA and support of the IT Department. They emphasized on the importance of implementation of safety culture and accident-free environment in SSGC and emphasized that safety is not only the responsibility of HSEQA Department but also of line managers and all employees who must work collectively in creating accident-free environment in the organization. It was a consensus agreement that no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.<\/p>\n
