A complaint of a rampant gas theft in Sector IV Ahsanabad Town, Karachi was received through E-Kachehri \/PMDU to SSGC\u2019s Distribution Central\u00a0 Zone.\u00a0 The Theft Control team of the Company\u2019s Customer Relations Division (CRD) raided the locality yesterday and found nearly resident consuming gas from 800 illegal connections through ten fake service connections.<\/p>\n
Summarily, the team disconnected the illegal connections in the area.\u00a0 At the same time, CRD requested the\u00a0 Company\u2019s Security Services Department to include the location in its regular monitoring schedule.<\/p>\n
Acting on yet another complaint reported from Shantinagar, Baldia Town, Karachi,\u00a0 CRD in coordination with the Company\u2019s Security Services and Distribution West, conducted a joint raid.\u00a0 The raiding team discovered that the SSGC laid 180 mm PE line was illegally extended with a 63-mm PE line to supply gas to unauthorized users.\u00a0\u00a0 During the raid, approximately 1,000 residents using illegal gas had their connections dismantled.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
