\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Rehabilitation of Distribution network\u00a0<\/span><\/span>has been<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>re-strategized. The quantum of network rehabilitation effort has been amped up to over 600 Km per annum.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A master plan is under development, aiming to rehabilitate of around\u00a0<\/span><\/span>4<\/span>,<\/span>5<\/span>00 Km distribution network in next 3 years. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Network Rehabilitation works in FY 2021-22: Karachi (285Km), Interior Sindh 180 Km, Balochistan (4Km).<\/span><\/div>\n
–\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Network Rehabilitation works in FY 2022-23: Karachi (492Km), Interior Sindh (202 Km), Balochistan (49 Km).<\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Major rehabilitation schemes in the interior Sindh region are planned in\u00a0<\/span><\/span>3<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>cities i.e., Kandhkot: 113 Km, Shahdadkot: 92 Km,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Sakrand<\/span>: 75 Km.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Execution phase started for\u00a0<\/span><\/span>around 800 KM\u00a0<\/span><\/span>network rehabilitation\u00a0<\/span><\/span>schemes\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in respect of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>DHA phase<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>I,II, V , VI & VII<\/span>. Rehabilitation works completed for Phase I and II. Rehabilitation of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Phase VI shall be completed\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in a couple of months<\/span>, whereas\u00a0<\/span><\/span>work in<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Phase V and VII\u00a0<\/span><\/span>will\u00a0<\/span><\/span>start soon.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>P<\/span>roject<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to rehabilitate around 400Km distribution pipelines in Lyari and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Baldia<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>have been<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>planned<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>F.<\/span>B<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Area, North Nazimabad schemes and Korangi schemes of around 750 Km are\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in\u00a0<\/span><\/span>planning\u00a0<\/span><\/span>phase.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Through these endeavors service delivery will improve in the tail-end ar<\/span>eas of the distribution network.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A mas<\/span>ter plan\u00a0<\/span><\/span>has\u00a0<\/span><\/span>already chalked out<\/span>, aiming to rehabilitate of around 4,500 Km distribution network in next 3 years. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u27a2\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Another project to rehabilitate around 400Km distribution pipelines in Lyari is under final stages of planning. Through these endeavors service delivery will improve in the tail-end areas of the distribution network by laying proper size pipelines<\/span>, which will substantially reduce<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>customer complaints.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
