{"id":113821,"date":"2023-08-12T13:02:35","date_gmt":"2023-08-12T08:02:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ssgc.com.pk\/web\/?p=113821"},"modified":"2023-08-13T14:04:04","modified_gmt":"2023-08-13T09:04:04","slug":"annual-turn-around-of-gas-field","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ssgc.com.pk\/web\/?p=113821","title":{"rendered":"Annual Turn Around of Gas Field"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Annual maintenance shutdown in gas field, \u00a0Supplies to SSGC to be affected<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">OGDCL has issued an \u2018Annual Turnaround Plan 2023\u2019 for its Kunnar-Pasakhi Deep (KPD) gas field whereby it will be undergoing planned maintenance in 3 phases from August 12 &#8211; 27 16 days), 2023.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">OGDCL has planned one full (complete field shutdown) ATA of 8 days and two partial ATAs of 4 days each.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">As a result, SSGC will face an estimated shortfall of 107 mmcfd during the full ATA period and 50 mmcfd each during the two partial ATAs.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0Since the gas demand-supply gap is already widening \u00a0due to constant depletion of gas reserves, this ATA will further widen this fissure \u00a0As a result, many customers and especially those located at the tail-end of SSGC&#8217;s gas distribution lines may face low gas supplies and pressure.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">SSGC will be closely monitoring the situation and will do its utmost to effectively manage \u00a0gas load by ensuring maximum available supplies to all categories of its customers.
