SSGC is a pioneer in the development of LPG-Air Mix plants that are installed to make synthetic natural gas available to those areas that are far from the Company\u2019s distribution grid. So far, SSGC has installed 6 LPG-Air Mix Plants in its franchise areas of Sindh and Balochistan, the recent one being the plant in Bela (Balochistan) that has a capacity of 1 mmcfd or 50 MMBtu\/Hr for serving 3600 customers.<\/p>\n
The other plants are in Balochistan\u2019s cities of Gwadar and Awaran (1 mmcfd plant capacity \u2013 serving 2,196 and 124 customers, respectively) and Surab and\u00a0 Noshki (2 mmcfd \u2013 1616 and 1,848 customers, resp.) and in Kot Ghulam Mohammad (1 mmcfd \u2013 2,482 customers) in Sindh.<\/p>\n
By providing an alternative resource, SNG plants to improve the standard of living of the marginalized communities.<\/p>\n
