Engineering graduate preferably in Mechanical/Petroleum/Industrial with at least 6 years of experience.
Candidates having experience in Oil and Gas/Public sector especially in the Balochistan Region will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive strategies and objectives for the construction and maintenance of pipeline distribution networks involving Mild Steel (MS) and HDPE in the Balochistan region, in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Supervise a team of engineers responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of distribution pipeline projects, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise as needed.
Oversee the design and engineering of distribution pipeline systems, including route selection, pipeline sizing, material selection, Ditching/backfilling, Pipeline Welding, HSS installation, Pigging, Hydro test and Commissioning ensuring adherence to relevant API code and industry best practices and specifications.
Manage and plan the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for distribution pipeline projects, including scope of work preparation, develop and review project tenders, vendor technical evaluation, and resource allocation, to ensure timely project execution within budgetary constraints.
Coordinate with Stores in timely arrangement of materials including Pipe, Pipe Fittings and allied material required for completion of Pipeline projects on set deadlines and ensure effective utilization of resources to achieve the departmental objectives.
Monitor the progress and performance of distribution pipeline projects in the Balochistan region, tracking key metrics such as project milestones, budget expenditures, resource utilization, and quality control measures.
Conduct regular site inspections of distribution pipeline projects to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any issues or deviations.
Monitor material issuance and utilization is in line with approved drawings, ensure material reconciliation after project is completed, verify vendor/contractor bills and ensure As-Laid submission to Planning and GIS Departments.
Hands on experience in ERP utility modules related to Material Issuance, Standard Purchase Order and Service requisitions.
Coordinate with internal departments for project budgets, Material requisitions/reconciliation and timely capitalization of completed projects.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including distribution maintenance, and customer relation teams, to address operational challenges, customer complaints, and service disruptions related to distribution pipeline networks, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
Prepare Quarterly and Monthly reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and executive leadership on distribution pipeline projects, performance metrics, budget forecasts, and strategic initiatives, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Prepare annual Capex and revenue budget requirements in line with department objectives and targets.
Perform any other task assigned by the head of department.
