JOB DETAILS:
Qualification & Experience:

MBA preferably in Supply Chain  with at least 2 year of relevant experience

 

Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) will be preferred.

Responsibilities:
    • Formulate and execute comprehensive disposal strategies for surplus and redundant materials and equipment, meticulously aligning with disposal policies.
    • Collaborate proactively with relevant departments to identify surplus items for disposal, employing a strategic approach to streamline the entire process.
    • Evaluate disposal options, including recycling, resale, or environmentally safe disposal ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and disposal policies
    • Foster productive collaborations with vendors and contractors, ensuring the proper disposal of materials and equipment in compliance with established standards.
    • Monitor disposal activities rigorously, upholding adherence to established standards and procedures, and conduct regular audits and inspections to confirm seamless compliance with disposal guidelines.
    • Maintain records of disposal activities, including quantities, methods, and associated costs, demonstrating a commitment to transparency and accountability.
    • Assess the environmental impact of disposal practices, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary to enhance sustainability.
    • Engage actively with cross-functional teams to ensure a streamlined and efficient disposal process, actively participating in organizational environmental sustainability initiatives.
    • Contribute to budget planning and monitoring for disposal activities, demonstrating financial acumen and responsibility.
    • Comply with the risk management framework.
    • Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
    • Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded and managed in a timely manner.
    • Receive appropriate training in risk management.
    • Undertake additional assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor.
