MBA preferably in Supply Chain with at least 2 year of relevant experience
Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Formulate and execute comprehensive disposal strategies for surplus and redundant materials and equipment, meticulously aligning with disposal policies.
Collaborate proactively with relevant departments to identify surplus items for disposal, employing a strategic approach to streamline the entire process.
Evaluate disposal options, including recycling, resale, or environmentally safe disposal ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and disposal policies
Foster productive collaborations with vendors and contractors, ensuring the proper disposal of materials and equipment in compliance with established standards.
Monitor disposal activities rigorously, upholding adherence to established standards and procedures, and conduct regular audits and inspections to confirm seamless compliance with disposal guidelines.
Maintain records of disposal activities, including quantities, methods, and associated costs, demonstrating a commitment to transparency and accountability.
Assess the environmental impact of disposal practices, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary to enhance sustainability.
Engage actively with cross-functional teams to ensure a streamlined and efficient disposal process, actively participating in organizational environmental sustainability initiatives.
Contribute to budget planning and monitoring for disposal activities, demonstrating financial acumen and responsibility.
Comply with the risk management framework.
Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded and managed in a timely manner.
Receive appropriate training in risk management.
Undertake additional assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor.
