JOB DETAILS:
Qualification & Experience:

MBBS from an institute recognized by PMDC with at least 2 years of professional experience required in relevant field.

 

Proven experience in clinical practice, preferably in occupational health or corporate healthcare.

 

Certification in occupational health is preferred.

Responsibilities:
    • Provide medical consultations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
    • Perform routine health assessments, physical examinations, and screenings.
    • Manage chronic conditions and follow up on patients' progress.
    • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and emergency treatment as needed.
    • Develop and implement health promotion programs and initiatives to improve employee well-being.
    • Educate employees on preventive healthcare measures, such as vaccinations, healthy lifestyle choices, and workplace safety.
    • Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations for employees.
    • Assess and manage work-related injuries and illnesses, ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations.
    • Provide guidance on workplace safety to prevent injuries.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all consultations, treatments, and examinations.
    • Ensure all medical documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, company policies, and occupational health standards.
    • Stay updated on changes in medical laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, HR, and HSE officers to support employee health and safety.
    • Communicate effectively with employees regarding their health concerns and treatment plans.
    • Monitor and analyze health trends within the company to identify potential health risks.
    • Implement health surveillance programs to detect and mitigate health issues early.
    • Provide training to employees on health-related topics, including first aid, CPR, and disease prevention.
    • Educate staff on emergency response procedures and the proper use of medical equipment.
    • Participate in continuous professional development and medical education programs to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of medical services within the company
    • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
    • Assist in making assessment of chronic medical cases in detail, maintain case summaries and update medical records with regular follow up.
    •  Refer to panel facilities for further specialized treatment, prognosis, surgery or diagnostic tests, if considered necessary.
    • Initiate referrals only when specifically warranted by circumstances and strictly in accordance with criteria and procedures prescribed in the manual.

    • Assist in preparing hospital admission form on the basis of admission advice received from the hospital.
    • The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
    • The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
    • Undertake any other assignment as instructed by immediate supervisor.
