JOB DETAILS:
Qualification & Experience:
Fresh Bachelors in IT / Cybersecurity / Computer Engineering
Or
BSCS / BCS with at least 2 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities:
Proven expertise and hands-on experience in Networks, Digital Gateways, Firewalls including WAFs, Proxy Servers, Endpoint Security (XDR/EDR), OS/Application Security, Systems/Network Security etc.
Must have understanding of VLAN isolation, private VLANs, and Layer-2 security hardening, Port security, wireless intrusion prevention (WIPS), 802.
1X, DHCP Snooping, storm control, BPDU Guard.
Manage and enforce endpoint protection (antivirus, EDR), OS hardening, patch management.
Ensure servers and critical infrastructure (databases, application servers etc.
) are properly secured, including OS, middleware, and application layers.
Evaluate and recommend new security solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
Oversee implementation of secure remote access, network monitoring, logging, and network traffic analysis.
Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, threats, or unauthorized access.
Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches.
Ensure that security policies are up-to-date and in compliance with industry regulations.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM tools.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve policies, standards, procedures for network, systems, and security.
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements.
Writing and maintaining Technical Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.
Work closely with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to integrate security measures into the organization's infrastructure and projects.
Support network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits.
Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Research latest information technology security trends and assist in advising to adopt recent and appropriate security systems.
Assign user access controls as per approved and communicated SOPs and entitlements.
Monitor network and application performance to identify any irregular activity.
Assist in performing regular IT operational audits to ensure security practices are compliant.
Monitor the functioning of deployed endpoint detection and prevention tools to thwart malicious hacks.
Continuously track that patch management system, to update the security software and applications, are done automatically otherwise manually update them as and when applicable.
Implement comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all assets.
Ensure close coordination with IT operations to devise and implement a shared disaster recovery/business continuity plan and strategy.
Assist in organization and conduct of trainings (with support and coordination of HR and/or respective teams leads) to educate employees on how to identify suspicious activity and what needs to be done on immediate basis.
Assist in providing IT security support to offices at remote locations.
Assist in preparing periodic IT security reports for managers.
The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
Undertake any other task assigned by the supervisor.
