Bachelors in Computer / Electronics Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Or
BSCS / BCS with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience of IBM Power Machines and Storage Systems.
Design, build, deploy and maintain Enterprise infrastructure that include servers, operating systems, and data storage network and backup devices.
Install, configure and maintain AIX/LINUX operating system, storage system and backup management software.
Perform system upgrades, patches and migrations.
Manage firmware updates and ensure compatibility with existing hardware and software.
Implement security policies and perform system hardening.
Ensure 24x7 availability of enterprise infrastructure and business-critical machines.
Implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues related to OS, firmware, and patches.
Undertake administration of operating system and manage / maintain the centralized storage.
Ensure data backup of critical business machines as per defined standard operating procedures.
Assess, mitigate, and resolve technical issues as and when these occur.
Install, configure, and manage hardware.
Assist in coordination with vendors to resolve any system issues.
Assist in preparing RFP/RFQ to initiate the procurement process for systems.
Assist in initiating quantifiable service level agreements SLAs with respective vendors.
Assist in planning and executing disaster recovery drills.
Ensure security enablement of the centralized storage system.
Perform health checks of critical systems on a regular basis.
Record any observations that require corrective measures.
Assist in preparation and proposing budget allocation for managing OPEX and CAPEX.
