Qualification & Experience:

MS in Electronics / Computer Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience

Masters in Computer Science or Bachelors in Electronics / Computer Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience

BSCS / BCS with at least 7 years of relevant experience

Candidate must have experience of system administration AIX, SAN and backup administration and management support.

Responsibilities:

Experience and sound knowledge of IBM Power Machines and Enterprise Storage Systems, for e.
Design, build, deploy and maintain Enterprise infrastructure that include servers, operating systems, and data storage network and backup devices.
Hands-on experience with leading Enterprise storage systems ensuring storage scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
Install, configure and maintain AIX/LINUX operating system, heterogeneous storage system and backup management software.
Expertise in virtualization technologies, including configuring and managing logical partitions (LPARs), virtual I/O servers (VIOS), and dynamic resource allocation for optimized system performance and scalability.
Hands-on experience of SAN switch zoning, including both soft and hard zoning methods for secure and efficient network segmentation.
Perform system upgrades, patches and migrations, ensuring all systems are at latest version.
Manage firmware updates and ensure compatibility with existing hardware and software.
Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and ensure standard compliance.
Ensure 24x7 availability of enterprise infrastructure and business-critical machines.
Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues related to OS, firmware, and patches.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Design and implement data backup solutions, retrieval techniques, redundancy strategies, and storage management best practices to ensure data integrity and availability.
Provide technical support, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and systems to meet business requirements.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues related to systems, storage, and backup solutions.
Collaborate with internal auditors, external auditors, and risk management teams to implement corrective measures based on their recommendations.
Install and connect computer systems and network IT infrastructure.
Provide technological support to PC end users for computer hardware and software trouble resolutions, installations and re-installations etc.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas for the purpose of making the network more effective.
Keep an eye on network traffic along with LAN/WAN installation.
Inspect LAN/WAN infrastructure for problems identification and resolution.
Install high-functioning computer network connections including cabling.
Provide technical support to end users for management of printers/scanners and other devices.
Provide support for VMWare/SAN environment.
Provide support in server administration, maintaining server hardware and software in working condition, upgrade all servers continually and troubleshoot problems on priority basis.
Monitor and tune appropriate OS parameters to ensure optimum level of performance.
Regularly perform system backup on the servers in order to keep important files safe and secure from any possible data loss.
The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
Undertake any other task assigned by the supervisor.
