ACCA / MBA preferably in Finance from HEC recognized university with at least 4 years of experience

Responsibilities:

    JOB SUMMARY

    The main purpose of this position is to supervise the preparation of monthly gas sales schedule and reconciliation reports. Review and update quarterly and annual budget for review by management and respond to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority’s (OGRA) queries and submit timely quarterly/annual templates as prescribed by OGRA.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervise preparation of category-wise monthly gas sales schedule for industrial, domestic and commercial users.
    • Sales schedules include: Gas sales in volume (CM, MCF, and MMBTU), Gas charges, meter rent, GIDC-CESS, general sales tax (GST), withholding tax, gas development surcharges and late payment surcharges.
    • Review provisions for doubtful debts and detailed reports pertaining to live and disconnected customers for review by management.

    • Participate in the preparation of GST and Cess payment statements for submission to Government of Pakistan.
    • Supervise preparation of budgetary reports pertaining to gas sales, accounts receivable and GDS.
    •  
    • Review quarterly/ annual budget including company-wide gas sales, meter rent, GST and receivables.
    •  
    • Review monthly reconciliation reports of sales schedules for review by management.
    • Generate quarterly, half yearly and annual templates of gas sales accounting and debtors as per formats prescribed by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
    • Specify comparative/ corresponding figures of prior year as well. 
    • Coordinate queries with management received from OGRA / Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources.
    • The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
    • The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
    • Undertake any other assignment as instructed by immediate supervisor.
