Responsibilities:

    JOB SUMMARY

    The purpose of this position is to ensure accurate recording of entries and maintaining inventory records including stock position, value, and aging records as per accounting standards. The incumbent also monitors and reports company’s inventory levels and is responsible for developing inventory-tracking system, reviewing levels of supplies, and generate monthly/ quarterly MIS reports for review by senior management.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Organize inventory checks to ensure reconciliation between physical and book balances of inventory stock in coordination with Stores in-charge and Information Technology (IT) department, to resolve any discrepancies.
    • Maintain updated and accurate aging records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts including store’s loan account.
    • Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
    • Develop financial inventory reports for review by senior management as and when required.
    • Support external auditors in arranging physical inventory checks and assist in other matters pertaining to audit.
    • Review monthly/ quarterly statements pertaining to inventory.
    • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency.
    • Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management.

    • Facilitate Regulatory Affairs Department pertaining to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) templates related to Accounts Department as per prescribed guidelines.
