JOB SUMMARY
The main purpose of this position is to support Lead Manager in ensuring timely processing of project schemes, preparation of financial feasibilities reports relating transmission projects, system based budgetary controls, review and capitalization of long outstanding projects, circulation of MIS of aging of WIP project relating to transmission , matters relating to deferred credits and IFRS 15, recording of advance from consumers and government for developments work on Oracle, assignment account operations support to sales and treasury, sustainable development goals account support to sales and treasury, recording of financial charges to be capitalized for qualifying assets relating to investments in transmission and distribution , allocation of overheads on ongoing development work, budget preparations and reporting thereon, CC&B matters relating to advances from consumers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise verification, cross checking and approvals duly given by Management as per financial powers and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and approving of issuance of job card for distribution and transmission projects.
- Prepare Annual Capital Expenditure Budget through discussion, meetings, and evaluations to meet the objective set by management Board of Directors (BoD) and OGRA parameters for Transmission and major Distribution projects.
- Prepare Financial Feasibility report for pipeline projects by taking into account of P&D / Sales department data input, government guidelines, ECC decision etc.
- Periodical closing of Projects Section with allocations of revenue overhead at Company level to all relevant projects.
- Prepare Various Schedules related to Projects Section to facilitate management in better decision making.
- Prepare Aging Analysis for ongoing distribution and transmission projects.
- Support the Audit team regarding any queries related to annual and interim audit.
- Resolve ERP issues related to projects module and suggest various improvements in the system.
- The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
- The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
- Undertake any other task assigned by the management.
