Qualification & Experience:

MBA preferably in Supply Chain from HEC recognized university with at least 4 years of experience.

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Experience of PPRA rules and regulations is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

    JOB SUMMARY

    The purpose of this position is to assist immediate overseeing compliance with PPRA Rules & Regulations and SSGCL procurement policies within the procurement department and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive compliance framework. This position is also responsible to monitor and enforce procurement compliance, promoting ethical practices, and safeguarding the integrity of procurement processes.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Assist in conducting compliance assessments to evaluate procurement processes, activities, and documentation for adherence to PPRA rules and SSGCL procurement policies.
    2. Review and analyze procurement records, contracts, and related documents to identify potential compliance risks and issues.
    3. Assist in the development and implementation of compliance monitoring mechanisms, including periodic audits and reviews.
    4. Collaborate with procurement teams to address compliance gaps and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
    5. Monitor compliance metrics and key performance indicators to measure and report on compliance status.
    6. Assist in communicating and training procurement staff on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
    7. Monitor changes in PPRA rules, regulations, and SSGCL procurement policies, and ensure updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
    8. Analyze procurement data to identify compliance trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement and prepare regular compliance reports, metrics, and documentation for management and regulatory bodies.
    9. Maintain a strong understanding of ethical standards and codes of conduct relevant to procurement activities and assist in promoting ethical behavior and adherence to ethical standards within the procurement department.
    10. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during compliance audits and reviews.
    11. Assist in addressing audit findings, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring timely resolution of compliance-related issues.
    12. Comply with the risk management framework.
    13. Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
    14. Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded, and managed in a timely manner.
    15. Receive appropriate training in risk management.
