KARACHI: Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL) has discovered gas and condensate from its exploratory well Tando Allah Yar South West 1, which is located in Hyderabad district.
In a press release on Monday, the company said it is the operator in this joint venture having 95 per cent working interest. The remaining 5pc rests with Government Holdings Ltd.
The structure of the well was delineated, drilled and tested using OGDCL’s in-house expertise. The well was drilled down to the depth of 3,250 metres.
The well has tested 10 million standard cubic feet per day of gas and 72 barrels per day of condensate.
