KARACHI - Sui Southern Gas Company and Nokia have signed a memorandum of understanding, encapsulating a strategic agreement between the two companies, says a Press release.
According to this agreement, SSGC customer services such as bill information, payment update information, GIS mapping and customer complain management services will be available to Nokia users right on their mobile phones. The two companies also plan to introduce online payment facilities in future.
SSGC’s Dy. Managing Director (Corporate Services) Zuhair Siddiqui speaking on the occasion said that as a country’s premier utility company, SSGC continuously strives to expand its reach in facilitating its valuable customers. Giving his views on this new partnership Siddiqui said that majority of Pakistanis use Nokia phones for their mobile communication needs which made it easier for SSGC to offer these services by capitalizing on Nokia’s popularity in the market.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by SSGC’s Chief Technology Innovation Officer, Irfan Zafar and Manager Valued-added Services, Mazhar Usman, whereas NOKIA was represented by its Head of PR and Communications, Adeel Hashmi and Solution Manager (Near East) Rabia Azfar.
