Living up to its traditions, SSGC, being a responsible corporate citizen once again responded to help the affected people of interior Sindh in the wake of heavy monsoon rains and floods which swept the province. The Company established medical camps in the worst hit regions of Badin, Nawabshah and Mirpurkhas on the instructions of the Company's Management Committee to provide relief to the affected population.

The Committee chalked out a comprehensive plan to provide relief to the citizens of the affected areas.

Respective zonal managers tied up with local DCOs to identify specific locations where the camps had to be set up. Each medical camp has been equipped by two male doctors and one female doctor duly aided by paramedical staff.

Free medicines and vaccinations are also being provided at each camp to the affected citizens of the three areas. SSGC also provided 2,000 boxes to the flood victims at each location containing dry food items like pulses, dates, biscuits and mineral water.
