During his visit of Balochistan in July 2011, Azim Iqbal Siddiqui, MD, SSGC inspected Quetta Headquarters, commonly known as HQ Quetta, on July 12, 2011.

He was accompanied by Zuhair Siddiqui, DMD (Corporate Services), Shoaib Warsi, SGM (D-North), Haroon Rasheed, DGM (D)-Balochistan Region, Lt. Col. Saeed Arshad, CM (SS) and Kashif Siddiqui, Protocol Officer. On his arrival, the MD and his team was warmly welcomed by Muhammad Altaf, DCE (O) l/C, Quetta and HQ's executives and staff. A bouquet was presented to the MD by a smartly dressed child. Mr. Altaf gave a detailed briefing to the visiting team about HQ Quetta and transmission network activities.

Mr. Altaf escorted the MD and his team on a visit to HQ Quetta's gas chromatograph lab, gas control room, SMS Quetta/SMS Coastal power installations and Greenhouse.

Writing in the comment book, the MD appreciated the HQ Quetta's staff for doing a good job of maintaining the blossoming Apple Orchard.

Comparing SSGC to a large tree, he said we must look after this Company to ensure its continuous growth. He commented, 'What is refreshing is that people in HQ Quetta were generally happy and there were fewer complaints.
