Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Speaker, National Assembly and then Acting President of Pakistan inaugurated the supply of natural gas to Dundo village in Taluka Tando Ghulam Haider located in Tando Mohammad Khan.

The inauguration ceremony, organized by Regional Office, Hyderabad was held on July 1, 2011.

The NA Speaker who was accompanied by her spouse Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, Senior Minister, Government of Sindh pushed the button to lit the symbolic flame and unveiled the plaque to inaugurate the project. Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar was also present on the occasion.

Shoaib Warsi, SGM (D-North) then explained the salient features of the commissioned project to the Acting President and the Senior Minister.

In her address, Dr. Mirza appreciated SSGC for channelizing its resources for making gas available to every nook and corner of the province. She said that the present Government is committed towards changing the social lives of common people and provide them basic needs at their doorsteps. Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, Amin Lakhu, President PPP, Tando Mohammad Khan, S. Qasim Naveed Qamar and SGM (D-North) also spoke on the occasion.

The SGM also presented Dr. Fehmida Mirza and Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza with ajraks. Rasheed Khanzada, Regional Manager, Sindh who was officiating as Acting GM (Sindh) also presented an ajrakto Mr. Qamar.
